During my bodybuilding days, I don’t count calories, I just eat clean foods to grow healthy without limiting my calorie intake. My rules are straightforward and sometimes weird, but trust me, they are going to help you.

You can easily afford a dozen eggs for $1, and they will last for 2-3 days. Hence, it is an affordable source of protein as well. You won’t believe it, but I usually choose to have eggs for my breakfast.


Besides being high in omega-3 fatty acids, EPA, and DHA, salmon has a huge amount of protein to assist muscle growth. A 100 gram serving of salmon contains 20 grams of good protein.

However, omega-3 helps in muscle recovery and also increases muscle protein synthesis.

However, as my simple building strategy of eating enough, besides counting calories, I know pizza didn’t add anything to building muscles, but here my goal is to satisfy my calorie need and add some muscle-friendly food to gain muscle.
